Srikanth Puppala is set to direct Kiran Abbavaram for his 16th film, tentatively titled #KA16.
What we know so far:
Director: Srikanth Puppala - he’s a debut director. This will be his first feature film.
Hero: Kiran Abbavaram - this is his 16th film as lead, hence #KA16
Announcement: The project was confirmed by trade handles in mid-2025 after Kiran wrapped K-Ramp and Dilruba
Status: Pre-production. Script work was underway as of late 2025. No official pooja/launch date yet.
Genre: Buzz is it’s a rural action-drama with strong emotion, different from Kiran’s recent college/comedy films like Rules Ranjann and Meter.
