RamCharan successfully undergoes right wrist surgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore

What happened

When: Surgery was done on July 27-28, 2026 at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore

Reason: Right wrist injury sustained during the shooting of 'Peddi'. Reports say it was a grade 3 wrist cartilage tear and bone damage from an intense wrestling sequence

He postponed surgery earlier to complete Peddi promotions, then went for the procedure . 

Surgery Details

Led by: Dr S Rajasekaran, Chairman of Ganga Hospital and renowned orthopedic surgeon

Joined by: Internationally acclaimed hand & wrist surgeon Dr. Alejandro Badia from Miami, USA, along with Dr Praveen Bharadwaj and team

Procedure: Described as "complicated" but "managed with precision laparoscopically". It was successful . 

Family with him

His father Chiranjeevi, mom Surekha and wife Upasana accompanied him to Coimbatore. Upasana was also seen praying at local temples for his recovery be19c4140e4e

Status: Recovering well. Medical team is satisfied with the outcome

Next: He will now undergo a structured rehabilitation program before returning to professional commitments
