1. RANKED NO.1 IN PANCHAYAT ?

Key achievements:

National Rank: Jumped from 24th to No.1 in 2 years under leadership of Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan

Gram Sabhas: World record in Aug 2024 - 13,326 villages held meetings simultaneously, framing plans worth Rs 4,500 crore

Staff reforms: 10,000+ employees promoted in transparent process

Rural infrastructure: 6,000 km CC roads + 1,331 km BT roads built. Also tribal connectivity under ‘Adavi Thalli Bata’ and ‘Palle Panduga’

Sanitation & Livelihood: Magic Drains, Swachh Rathas, 21,567 cattle sheds, 15,000 water troughs

Other: 13,000+ Gram Sabhas in single day, 4,000 km village roads under Palle Panduga bf622747

PAI 2.0 also notes Southern states like AP, Telangana, Tamil Nadu leading in rural governance.

2.  NO.2 IN ROADS ?

State spending: ₹861 crore spent in 9 months on repairing 20,060 km roads

New works: 922 works covering 6,054 km worth ₹2,500 crore. 221 works completed

National Highways:

Last 2 years: 1,549 km of NH projects taken up with ₹23,325 crore investment

Completed: 61 NH projects, 1,515 km at ₹35,799 crore

Rank: 3rd in India after Maharashtra & UP in NH funding

Guinness Records Jan 2026: Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada corridor - 28.95 lane km in 24 hours, 10,675 MT bituminous concrete

Tech push: AI road inspections, Eco-Fix potholes, nano-concrete by IIT Tirupati, use of plastic waste & fly ash

Budget FY26: ₹1,968 crore allocated for roads & bridges. 

3. RANKED NO.1 IN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ?

Budget FY25-26: ₹3,156 crore to Industries & Commerce Dept

₹1,400 cr for incentives to industries, MSMEs, food processing

₹837 cr for Visakhapatnam-Chennai, Chennai-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Bengaluru corridors

Industrial Nodes approved:

Orvakal & Kopparthy - under HBIC & VCIC, with GoI funding

New 4 nodes: Mulapeta, Donakonda, Chilamathur, Kuppam

Krishnapatnam - CBIC corridor

Major projects:

Electronics clusters in Tirupati/Chittoor: ₹9,706.75 cr, ₹5,719.8 cr, ₹1,604.41 cr

6340 MW Power Cluster - Krishnapatnam: ₹37,428 cr

Petrochemical, Apparel, Cement clusters proposed

Investors: NTPC Green, ArcelorMittal, BPCL, Reliance, LG, TCS, Tata Power, Greenko

Growth: Industrial sector grew 11.91% in Q1 2025-26. Manufacturing up 9.93%. AP attracts ∼25% of investments flowing into country

Policy: Shift from "Ease of Doing Business" to "Speed of Doing Business".

Strengths: Engineering goods, marine products, pharma. 40% of India’s fish production
